I don't have the election to talk about any more, so what is there to rant about?

This has been an interesting season for plane travel. One was saved when the pilot flew into the Hudson. But if you haven't heard that, you must live under a rock. Kudos belong to the pilot, though; it takes fortitude to act that igenuiously under so much pressure. That last sentence was really evidence that I'm a nerd, and if you can understand it, so are you. Then there was the other plane that crash landed. It's a shame, but imagine that a behomoth of a machine, such as the passenger plane, can be taken down by one little error. The devil really is in the details...

Then there was the inauguration... I thought it was hilarious how the supreme court justice managed to flub his lines for Obama's inauguration. But seriously, folks, the star that day was Aretha's hat. That hat is the reason Obama's stalling the closing of Guantanamo: he plans to send the hat there to torture it for showing him up. And we all know it deserves death...

And has anyone heard about the new Lions coach, whatshisname? He's in a winning position; next season, the Lions literally can't do any worse. And don't get me started on the Lions... they've relegated themselves to a place of eternal shame in the NFL. Why not just move all the Michigan state players into the NFL and all the Lions players into the NCAA. At least, then, the scales will be balanced.

Well, that's all I've got to go on about. I might post again sometime... but I might not.

Posting Out of a Lack of Homework

For anyone wondering why I decide to post just now, the title is self-explanatory. Not much going on... things have quieted down since the election. My birthday was great; my parents bought me Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Wii. I'd better add it to my top video games list, which exists somewhere on this blog. I've already gotten over halfway through, in just three weeks. Thanksgiving was cool, too. Standard invite-the-grandparents over kind of deal. I got an extra day off from school (Wednesday) for Thanksgiving this year, so that was cool.
In school... things are going pretty normal. In English, we had to do presentations on our written papers. Mine was about how English is spreading across the world. I don't care enough about my topic, however, to argue it on my blog. In History, we split into groups and created Podcasts, or sound files, about life in Antebellum. My group was cool, but some of its members got hotheaded and abusive at times. Group situations can be tense, though. In health, the hilariously stereotypical black kid sitting behind me has got suspended a couple times, so class is much quieter. My school did our can drive just last week... on the last day alone, we collected over 50% of our goal of 42,009. That's over 20,000 cans in one day! I think someone just fudged the numbers... multiplied everything by a scale of ten, maybe?
Not too much else has been up... I'll post if something interesting happens, but frankly, I'm kind of getting bored with this blog. Ah well.

Acceptance of Defeat, and research paper

Well, McCain lost. Obama won. I guess the best thing for a conservative blogger to do right now would be to accept defeat, and wish God's guidance for the new president-elect. Because, I've learned, political anger is unhealthy and godless. If I really want to reach people, in any way, I must back my argument up with facts. This is true both in political and spiritual issues.
And yet, my home city of Livonia remains Republican. Both our state house representative and our US house representative are conservatively minded. Another fortune for the nearby city of Detroit: the removal of Kwame Kilpatrick. Hopefully, Mayor Cockerel will take the city out of its parabolic descent, and at least reach a vertex.
In my own life... I have to write a persuasive research paper for English. My subject is the Globalization of English. The hardest part of the paper? Definitely, MLA citations. Next to impossible to do perfectly. Plus, I can't find all the information I need for each citation. So, that's a drag. Also, in Spanish, we have to sing this really dumb song. If a Spanish speaker saw it, it would be labeled as dry and meaningless. The tune isn't terrible, just the lyrics.
Anyway, thank you all for checking out my blog. I've removed the presidential and vice presidential polls, just as the tv stations have removed all traces of political ads (finally!) Have a great weekend, everyone out there.

On the Dawn of the Election

Hey, everyone. Now that I've given you a blog just about my blog, I need to make one more politipost regarding the election. Barack Obama is really the projected winner, and doesn't have to do much to win, other than keeping states of 5 percent support or less on his side. BUT! John McCain has just recently edged out Obama's lead in Missouri, Indiana, and North Carolina.
List of grievances against Obama:
- He negotiates with terrorists, such as Iran's Abedinijab
- He wants to add to our debt by cutting the middle class' taxes
- He's going to drive away big business, with his tax increases
- He went to the church of Jeremiah Wright, he lived as a Muslim in Indonesia, and he talked about the "52 states of America", an accidental reference to the Qu'ran. Do we know what he actually believes?
- He votes down the party line 97% of the time, even more often than John McCain sides with Bush. With Nancy Pelosi at his side in Congress, the Democrats will be able to do anything and everything.
- He supports abortion in any situation, which is an outright denial of our Constitutional right to life. He even supported a hospital that left babies to die after a failed partial-birth abortion.

These are the reasons my family refuses to vote for Obama (no, I'm not quite old enough to vote yet). Everyone, remember this: your vote counts. Whether you're voting for McCain in Michigan or Obama in Texas, remember to give your candidate a chance. I'll see you all again after the election.

My dissapearance for a month, Explained

It was homework. School's been interesting lately. This last week, I only had 3.5 days of school, which is pretty cool :-). On Wednesday, I had this English assignment where I had to wear a letter on my chest that said something negative about me; I chose 'S' for stereotyping. I had to write a report on how I was treated differently, but I wasn't really treated differently by anyone, except that they asked about the letter. Also, in Physics, we're doing this bridge-building project. That's something I'm going to have to get working on this weekend. In my other classes, its mostly normal business as usual. Except for health yesterday, which sucked, because we had to work quietly without talking with eachother. Ah, well...
Anyone who visits this blog, I would definitely encourage to vote in my Presidential polls (especially with the race closing in). Normally, I would give some sort of political rant, but I don't feel like it today.
Anyway, that's all I gotta say. See how boring a normal person's blog can really be?

Last Post, minor mourning

About my last post... I fear I may have misquoted myself on several points. In my last post, I talked about a baby possibly being punishment. What I meant by that is that I DO NOT believe the baby itself could be viewed as a punishment; rather, if said baby is not wanted or conceived through ill means, then the pregnancy and costs associated with the baby can be, IN SOME CASES, viewed by some as a sort of punishment. HOWEVER: I believe that, in any case, a baby is additionally a life-changing blessing, and that a baby can teach important lessons about responsibility. Therefore, unwanted pregnancy, while in some cases a punishment, is always, in the end, a blessing. Oh, and here's an edit to my original post: the father should be forced to take responsibility for the child as well. He should at least be made to pay child support, and possibly even be made to have partial custody, if he is viewed as responsible enough. Through the use of paternity tests, this may become possible.
Another minor point... my UAW idea was only half-serious, and half a joke. Yet, I feel my statements were not justified enough. In this day and age, I really see no reason for unions. Originally, they were created so that workers could work in safe conditions and receive enough money to live on. With extensive government regulations on workplace quality and payment of workers, however, unions no longer serve a purpose. Ultimately, union members have often (not in all cases, however) become greedy. It is greed that is driving corporations out of the country! And because unions are a way to channel this greed in a legitimate fashion, I believe that tactfully causing them to self-destruct will help keep corporations from outsourcing!

So that's really all I had to say about my last post. What has been happening in my own life? Sadly, my great-grandmother, aged 92 (I think), passed away yesterday afternoon. I feel slightly satisfied, though, that I had the chance to see her one week before her passing. Though she was not a close relative, I knew her and enjoyed spending time with her.

Also, about this blog... I just learned how to change the background and stuff, so I'm experimenting with that. Also, I added a new song to my music video list; the song itself has no official music video, and this was the best video version of it I found on YouTube. It's "Burn For You", one of my favorite songs by tobyMac, a Christian rap/hip-hop artist. I think it's worth a listen.

The World as it is Today

This post is going to be specifically for what I think about what's going on in politics.

Corporate Bailouts! I agree, it is the insurance companies fault that they went into bankruptcy. However, if the U.S. government allows them to go out of business, they will become owned by foreign countries. THIS WILL HAVE A TRICKLING DOWN EFFECT, AND OUR MONEY WILL BE ABSORBED BACK UP! Not only will policy holders LOSE their former policy, but they will also have to get a new, possibly worse policy, with a foreign insurance company. Either direction the U.S. goes, our economic problems will be expounded, but I think the bailout direction is the lesser of two evils here.

Abortion? Sithisaak's dad asked me this on the way back from the Churchill football game last night. It was fun to watch and be there with friends, even though our sucky team got killed 31 - 12 by Plymouth. Anyway, I want to make it clear that I DO NOT support a woman's right to choice. Some have asked why I believe I have the right to say what women can or can not do with their own lives. I agree. I do, however, care when a future member of society, a future human being, is aborted by a selfish women. How can women not have babies? STOP HAVING SEX, DUH!
Even more about abortion? I just want to continue by saying that at the very least, a baby can be viewed as punishment for having extramarital sex, especially if the woman doesn't want a child. If she does, the child can be viewed as a blessing; nevertheless, a child can be seen as a punishment. That's why I support abortion in cases of rape, AND ONLY IN CASES OF RAPE. When a woman is raped, she did not have consentual sex; therefore, her baby can not be viewed as a punishment. In other words, I believe a woman made pregnant through rape should have the option to abort a baby if it would affect her in an undesired way. And as a final reminder, only a few cases of extramarital pregnancy in, say, 10,00, are a result of rape.

Energy crisis! I do support the utilization of alternate energy sources. This is especially true for nuclear power, as tiny nuclear reactions can create an unimaginably immense and untapped amount of energy. Plus, the chance of a nuclear holocaust is highly exaggerated. What about offshore oil drilling? McCain gives his support to it, but Obama refuses. In my opinion, drilling for oil will not only reduce our CRIPPLING DEPENDENCE on foreign oil, but also give us the gasoline needed to bolster our economy. As I see it, producing cheaper gas through offshore drilling will lessen the burden on America's entire working class, not just the upper crust.

Tax cuts for corporations? This is exactly what Michigan needs right now! So many companies, especially American auto makers, are shipping production overseas, in order to avoid America's big taxes. If tax cuts are given only to U.S.-based corporations that keep most of their workers' positions within the United States, I believe the tax cuts can have a positive impact on the entire economy. There's also the thing with labor unions that makes corporations want to leave. At first, the labor union was a good concept, as it helped give employees a salary they could live on and clean working conditions. The problem nowadays is that union workers have such a sense of entitlement, their desire for higher salaries is forcing jobs to move out of the country!
You want my solution? The automakers should pay employees that aren't in the UAW MORE than they pay actual unionites. As a result, most members will split away from the union. Once the UAW has been virtually dissolved in that company, the automaker can gradually reduce salaries until they are at or below what they originally were for union members. There may be some complaints, but with no worker's union, the employees won't be able to lobby for unnecessarily bulky salaries.

Anyway, that's probably enough of a rant for today. Enjoy the weekend, everyone.

Sick today, School stuff, Sithisaak resurfaces

Try saying that sick title six times fast! Anyway, I mostly have time to post today because I'm sick from school. So, I've been getting too much homework lately. I mean, it's not overwhelming, but it does kind of get on my nerves, as homework always does. The classes with the most would be physics and APUSH (or as I like to call it in my own roundabout fashion, Advanced Placement United States History). Health is pretty easy, I don't get much homework. Spanish 2 and Analysis give me a fair amount of homework, but it's always manageable. Which leaves me with English. English homework isn't that tough, except that I did the wrong homework TWICE so far. And it's only 2.5 weeks into the year!

Also, my friend Sithisaak now has his blog back up and running, so I guess I'll post a link to it. In response to his hating on Palin, I guess I'll start hating on Biden. Except... I KNOW ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT JOE BIDEN! Doesn't it kind of seem that neither the media nor any commercials have said anything about Biden? Somehow, he's flying under the radar, probably because he's rather unremarkable. I mean, he's a white, male, democrat, something all of our democratic presidents have been so far. At least John McCain has the claim to fame of being really old. Joe Biden... is just too normal. Not that normalcy makes for a bad vice president, or anything like that. I just believe that McCain/Palin is the lesser of two evils here.

And about Palin... I won't deny that the marriage of Bristol and whoever the father is was probably a shotgun wedding. However, I think Palin has taken an undeniably firm stance by not wavering in light of this surprising family news. And the best thing Obama has done so far is declare that candidatial families are off-limits, something I agree with (though I won't deny that family impacts a candidate a lot, as in, Hillary Clinton.

So, dinner's ready, and I've got to quit posting for now. The post title, however, is self-explanatory; school's back, and I'm getting bombarded with homework. No, really. Speaking of which, I don't have much time to write this post because I have to get back to homework.
Anyway, about my classes. First hour English hasn't been bad so far, but it'll probably become one of my most challenging classes. Accelerated Analysis has been great so far; all we've done is magic squares, a kind of puzzle. Spanish 2 will be fun, but the teacher acts unnecessarily strict. AP US History is already becoming a problem; after two days of school, I'm already behind on my homework! Health should pretty much be a blow-off class. Finally, Physics sounds interesting, but challenging. The best thing that's come out of a new school year? Becoming a sophomore.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://yes-its-a-blog-by-beejay.blogspot.com/2008/09/schooooools-back-for-autumn.html' title='Schooooool's Back.. for... What's been up this summer? Well, in July, my family went on a trip to California for my uncle's "commitment ceremony", as it was called. Basically, it was very much like a wedding, but totally unofficial. Uncle Jeff got commited to now-Aunt Bonnie; they're both very nice people, some of the only people who bother to check out this blog. As for the trip there... it was by car, not by plane, so we got a lot of pictures on the way. I'm gonna be posting some of them on the side of this page after I finish this post. My favorite place to see was Yellowstone; it was mountainous, it had diverse wildlife, and I got to see the geysers (awesome geological miracles).
What else has been up? I have to do summer homework :^<. For English, I read Fahrenheit 451 (a great American book by any standards), and wrote a long summary of it. I also have to do study guides for APUSH next year, which isn't as difficult. I still have to finish it, and I have until September 3rd, when I officially become a sophomore!
Anyway, in the Olympics news... I saw Michael Phelps manage to get an eigth gold medal (I thought he was biting off more than he could chew... but he chewed it!). Anyway, I don't know/can't tell if the Chinese gymnasts really are too young, just because I've never been to China. Frankly, I don't care, because the U.S. is still successful in almost every sport. Also, it looks like China's greatest runner strained a tendon, so he had to quit. Also, Jamaica's women got ALL THREE MEDALS in one sprinting competition (Americans got 4th, 7th, and last).
In political news... it looks like it's between Obama and McCain, unless Hillary goes through with a possible coup at the democratic national convention (I'm not expecting it, but I'd rather have Hillary than Obama). Anyway, I hope that McCain chooses Romney as a running mate (I wish Romney never dropped out of the race... I definitely preferred him to McCain). Also, you've probably heard about Kwame Kilpatrick, mayor of nearby Detroit. He's already been in jail twice... I cannot believe he hasn't left office yet. Even if he claims he's doing all he can for the city of Detroit, the best thing he can do is step down, if he wants to regain the mangled thing he calls dedication to the city. At the very least, he'll be out of office by the end of the 2009 mayoral election.
I've been on a few camping trips this summer; the most recent was to Pokagon state park, in northeastern Indiana. If you love biking and hiking, this is an awesome place for both. Not only is there a network of hiking trails, but each campground loop offers hills and dips that any leisurely cyclist will enjoy. Additionally, the park features an artesian well, which springs delicious water. Before that, I went to Sleeper State Park on the tip of Michigan's thumb. It's small and offers few hiking options, but it has a nice beach. Lake Huron has waves small enough for simply drifting, and its water isn't too cold for comfort. But even before the California trip, me, the family, and some friends of ours camped in Ohio's Hocking Hills State Park. In my opinion, it's like nature's own wonderland. If you like waterfalls, rapids, cliffs, enormous rock recesses, and even something of an open-air cave, you'll love Hocking Hills. It was a bit distant for us, but worth the trip.
Anyway, that's pretty much all that's been up. With this post, I now declare a REVIVAL OF MY BLOG!

School ain't going down without a fight

So, yes, school is almost over throughout the majority of the U.S.; only a few more weeks to go. Of course, it isn't going down silently. For some reason, this seems to be the time of year I get the most work (and we haven't even started preparing for finals). In English, the teacher is a semi-Nazi who gives us too much homework and won't accept late work. In wood shop, the teacher doesn't teach much; he just tells us what to do, without explaining how to do it.
Anyway, it looks like Obama will be winning the Democratic Primaries (though I have to give kudos to Hillary for not quitting). Personally, I'm not a fan of any of the candidates. Overall, I'd have to call John McCain the least of three evils. I mean, few people even know where Obama stands on anything (I'm not sure he knows himself). Also in the news - not much, really.
Just recently, me and a bunch of friends got together for some English extra credit. For ten E.C. points, we dramatized The Tragedy of Julius Caesar. It was filled with poor acting and direct line-reading (I myself am not exempt from that rule). But, all in all, we had a cool time. Afterwards, we headed to my friend Isaac's house for pizza, internet videos and Guitar Hero, which was tight.
Well, I don't have much more to blog about now. Unfortunately, not many people have been checking it out lately (possibly due to the ridiculously long URL). Anyway, I'm not going to give up on this blog (at least not yet).

First post in a long while

As the name suggests, I haven't posted in quite a while. Anyway, I recently added a few things to my blog, including a list of favorite TV shows and video games.
So in the news recently... a few days ago there was the Democratic candidates debate. Personally, I greatly dislike how they both say that John McCain is the enemy. This may sound cheesy, but thier true enemy is the problems plaguing America, such as war, healthcare, education, and the widening gap between the rich and the poor.
Also in the news... apparently Windows XP will stop being distributed this summer, so by this fall, it should be very difficult to find a copy of XP. However, it should still be usable until 2014 (after then, no one's really sure). Of course by that time, we will all have been flooded by global warming and Al Gore ;-), making computers useless. Speaking of 'global warming' this last March was apparently the warmest ever in Asia (it was somewhat standard on our half of the globe). Personally, I don't know; doesn't it seem like melting ice caps would lead to lower water levels, due to the fact that ice isnt' as dense as water? I'm still skeptical toward the topic.
On another note, I've been playing Brawl a lot lately, and I have unlocked every character and stage (it's a lot easier than in Melee). Of course, I still have a lot of trophies and CDs to collect, so that should keep me busy. I'm hoping to buy Super Mario Galaxy when I have enough money for it, so that'll be fun. Anyway, thanks for reading, and I'll keep updating this blog. Don't stop voting in my presidential poll!

Fun with MY NEW WII!

Yes, my family got the Wii! In fact, we got it in early March, on the day Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released. So, guess what game I got? That's right, Metroid Prime Corruption. NOT (not that it isn't a good game, but I got SSBB). So, it's really fun, better than it's predecessor, and the stage builder provides as much entertainment as your Wii/SD card can handle. Personally, I would give it a 9.7 out of 10, as it reeks of awesomeness. If you have the Wii, you must get this game!
So, anyway, American Idol is in full swing, though I'm a bit put off that Chikezie was eliminated last week (he was among the greatest in the competition). On the same note, the most recent Yahoo poll shows votes against Ramiele's survival by an overwhelming plurality (over 40%, in fact), so I'm expecting her to leave tonight.
Thirdly, I changed around some of my pictures, as some of my old ones were lame. I also added another music video to the list: "Fat" by Weird Al Yankovic. The song is great, but the music video is phenomenal in comparison; definitely his best music video by my standards.
Fourthly, I'd like to give you all a verse of the day. I Corinthians 2:11 says "For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except for the man's spirit within him. In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God." What this means is that even though we sometimes don't understand why bad things happen, it is only because we all share a limited knowledge. However, God does everything for a reason, even if we cannot comprehend that reason. Thanks for listening, and have a great day(or week).

Happy Easter and etcetera

Hey, everyone. About my last post: I wasn't trying to sound preachy or anything at the end, even though I probably did, so I'm sorry about that. As I said, I don't know everything, and I'm not any sort of expert on morals.
Secondly, I'd just like to tell you all to enjoy Easter. One thing I dislike, however, is people who celebrate Christmas and Easter even though they don't acknowledge the real reason for those holidays. The reason isn't candy or Easter dinner; the reason is Jesus. While getting candy and spending time with family is fun, people can sometimes forget the real reason for the holiday. I'm not going to explain all the proofs for the Ressurection on my blog, but for those of you who went to church today, thank you for being at least open to Christianity. If you aren't affluent churchgoers, however, I'd like to challenge you to go to church again the Sunday after Easter, and perhaps actually listening to the sermon. Remember: just because you go to church twice a year doesn't make you a Christian; being a Christian is about having a relationship with God. And since this relationship determines how you will live after death, it's at least something to look into. Is there anyone who has never wondered what will happen after they die? Go to church, and find out.

IT'S MARCH MADNESS!!

Well, I'm not a basketball fan, and I'm talking about Super Smash Bros Brawl madness. The big day is this Sunday, as every Smash Bros fan ought to know. And yet, I STILL DONT HAVE THE WII!!!!! Alright, I'm not that angry over it, and it's not something I desire from the bottom of my heart, but I would love to have one. For now, though, I have Melee....

Anyway, yesterday I saw "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins"(I only had a half-day of school yesterday and today, so I had time for the movies). Honestly, it was way too inappropriate for its PG13 rating. It featured dogs having sex (not a cool image), and people having sex (even worse, in a sense), so yeah, it was no children's movie. While it was funny at times and had a decent plot, I would not reccomend it to ANYONE.

Thirdly, a few new things about the blog: I added another music video, "Me and Jesus" by Stellar Kart, which is very much a Christian soft rock type of song. Also, I just realized that I didn't feature Ralph Nader on my poll, but now that people have actually voted, I'm not allowed to change anything about it. And, by the way, keep voting!

I'd like to leave with a word about gossip. While I don't like gossip, I sometimes fall into the trap of talking about others behind thier back. Those who speak badly of thier friends should pay attention to Ecclesiastes 10:20: "Do not revile the king even in your thoughts, or curse the rich in your bedroom, because a bird of the air may carry your words, and a bird on the wing might report what you say." For those who feel they are being gossiped about, consider Ecclesiastes 7:21-22: "Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you - for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others." Talking to people behind thier backs is no way to make friends, and it's plain shallow. If you partake in gossip, you're only doing others as big a harm. That's something we should all think about at school, including myself, as I already told you, I'm prone to that kind of thing. Anyway, thanks for reading, and enjoy your weekend.

Does Daylight Savings Time work?

I know that this is a strange thing to talk about at this time a year, but a recent study revealed that Daylight Savings Time doesn't actually work; in fact, it raises utility bills, do to heating and cooling needs. This study was based on Indiana consumers, because until recently, they didn't observe Daylight savings time in Indiana. Honestly, I'm not a fan of DST, as it makes the day end earlier.
On another note, I just returned from a winter retreat with my youth group. We went to the Kalahari waterpark near Sandusky. It was WAY AWESOME!!! One of the rides was a roller-coaster type slide, where two people rode a raft up and down a long slide; whenever the raft went up, there was a ramp along the slide, to push the raft up. There was also a ride where I went down a super-fast chute, which ended with a bowl-type setup, where I slid around a few times before falling through a big hole in the middle. There was also something where I rid on a wave-machine that shot water upwards while sliding downward; while I completely failed the first three times, I did alright the fourth time.
Anyway, I'll be trying to update the blog even more and customize it, and perhaps get more readers.

Video Links and Presidential Poll

I don't have news for you today, but I decided to add a poll: "Who do you want for president?" Anyway, about the songs: I only have two so far. Switchfoot's "Meant to Live" is one of my favorite rock songs, while "Be My Escape" by Relient K has more of a Christian pop-type sound. Yes, for those of you out there, I am a Christian, and I strive to be neither an intolerant Christian nor a "no one is going to hell" Christian, as I don't believe that.
Anyway, thanks for checking out my blog, and if you're out there reading this, comments or votes in my poll would be appreciated. Firstly, if you haven't heard already, Ralph Nader's running for pres with the green party. I don't know what I think about this, as I know almost zilch about Ralph Nader. Secondly, the power to south florida has just been restored (not that it concerns me). I guess there was a problem in one of the nuclear plants, and power production ceased. Third, they're building some sort of Doomsday vault in Norway, to contain animal and plant life (so when we all die from nuclear winter, there'll still be animals and plants around!) And about nuclear winter; I'm not too worried about it, as its effects will probably be canceled out by global warming ;-). Finally, some group in central Europe believes they have found a secret underground chamber of Nazi gold. Some have even speculated that it may be the amber room, which Hitler stole from a St. Petersburg castle. Okay, only Hitler is able to steal an entire room. I mean, what did he do, just get a really big truck to move it along the Audobon? Of course, on the Audobon, the room would probably fall off the truck, at least at those speeds. In case you don't know, I don't like Hitler, because he was just positively crazy and anti-semitic (not that I'm Jewish, but anti-semitism has been WAY overplayed in Europe ever since they started living there. Well, anyway, I'll try to keep up with the new and put more stuff on my blog, as I'm not quite satisfied with it yet.

Pictures

Yes! Today I added some pictures to my blog. If you know what they're pictures of, you can guess that I'm a Super Smash superfan. I'm excitedly anticipating the new game, even though I don't have a Wii (but I want one really badly!) Anyway, if you've never played any kind of Super Smash Bros. series game before, I'd recommend SSB Melee, for the Gamecube. It's both challenging and addictive; it was also the Gamecube's best-selling game ever. (by the way, because I fear lawsuits, all three of those pictures come from www.smashbros.com, the official brawl website). Anyway, in other news, this Israeli woman is claiming to be the oldest in the world, at 120 years. She even has an official D.O.B to back it up, even though it includes not her birthday. It would be pretty neat to be able to ask her about the world back then, huh? If you want to find her online, search the name Miriam Aresh. If you can't find her, add the terms "world's oldest woman", or something.
So, recently, some dirty arsonist burned down part of my sister's school, including her classroom. While the arson itself is very troublesome, what bugs me is that she gets the rest of the week of school. Okay, I'm not so heartless that I don't care that my sister's class is up in ash, but I'm naturally inclined to be jealous of those who get extra days of off school.
Anyway, for all my devoted readers (not very many at all probably), I'll try to begin making this blog look cool, okay?

Yes, it's a posting!

Yes, this is my blog, created only today. So far, boring and desolate. Why did I form a blog? Well, I formed it with no purpose in mind, but honestly, isn't boredom the source of at least 48% of all blogs out there? Who am I? I'm a high school freshman who is somewhat skilled academically but is a total fatwad (in my own words...). Anyway, while this blog will not occupy my entirety, I will make attempts to update it regularly. So hopefully, I will soon actually put something of any sort of relative interest to the Internet public on my blog. I guess I'll see you around when this blog actually becomes of minor interest.
